What do we offer pre- and postpartum?
At Physio Restart, we have been working in this field for several years and can give you reliable tips and instructions on exercise during pregnancy and support you when you return home after giving birth, thanks to regular visits to congresses, publications, lectures and trainings. We offer this as an individual treatment and group class.
During pregnancy, your body goes through many changes to make room for the growing baby. Physiotherapy can help to strengthen and restore your body during pregnancy and after delivery. The therapy focuses on the whole body. We take into account your breathing pattern, posture, load and unload with respect to your daily and sportive goals. During pregnancy and childbirth, the pelvic floor can become weaker or tense, which can lead to problems such as urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and sexual dysfunction.
Course of treatment & costs single treatment
At the beginning, the patient consultation takes place, in which important information about your women's health, pregnancy and your professional and sporting environment is discussed. After explaining the anatomy and function of the affected areas, initial behavioural measures are instructed, recommendations for everyday life and sport are given and the possibility of a pelvic floor and abdominal check-up is explained. If you are already in the 3rd trimester of your pregnancy, we will also prepare you for the birth and show you specific interventions and exercises. You are welcome during your postpartum period to receive early, necessary treatments. After 6-8 weeks at the latest, we will invite you to a 1:1 session for postnatal recovery.

Without prescription: 25 minutes 90 francs, 50 minutes 180 francs
Indications
We treat you after an injury and if you already have any complaints related to your pregnancy and childbirth but also without symptoms. Ideally, we want to avoid surgical intervention by starting treatment at an early stage. At the same time, we use preventative approaches in our treatment plans to reduce the risk of a recurrence. However, many patients also come to us in advance in order to avoid injury or illness in the first place through certain examinations, performance analyses and therapeutic measures.

Group class (time of start visible in online booking system)
A post-natal group course for moms without a baby takes place once a week. The class consists of a 50-minute functional training session that is tailored to the participants and has restorative content. Our class aims to help new moms regain their strength, improve their overall fitness and well-being, and connect with other women. The focus of the group class is on exercises that are safe and effective for you. This includes stretching, pelvic floor, endurance and strength training with a focus on the core, using your own body weight as well as various materials. When you register, you will receive a small booklet listing the content of the course lessons. We will give you small exercises and tasks to do at home as well as tests in the class to check the status of your recovery.

Important: There are two reserve dates at the end of the 8 lessons. If the course has to be cancelled by us in an emergency, these reserve dates will be used so that you receive the 8 full course lessons at the end.

Personal Training
Before birth​
We offer 1:1 training support for you during your pregnancy. The aim is to help you stay physically fit and healthy, which improves your wellbeing and health of your developing baby. Regular exercise during pregnancy has been shown to have a number of benefits, including reducing the risk of gestational diabetes and high blood pressure, improving mood and energy levels and shortening the duration of labour. You will receive access to an app in which we will manage your training programme and keep you regularly updated. Of course, we take into account any instructions from your gynaecologist so that you can be carefully looked after even if you have a high-risk pregnancy. The appointments can either take place on site or online via video, a combination of both is also possible.

After birth
We offer personal training for mums after the birth. The aim of this training programme is to provide individual support. If you experienced a loss, you are also very welcome. Understandably, there is often a lack of time for recovery, which can unfortunately manifest itself with symptoms even years after a birth. Together we will try to integrate the training into your everyday life as a mum. You will receive access to an app in which we will manage your training programme and keep you regularly updated. The appointments can either take place on site or online via video, a combination of both is also possible.
